How to make Soy Milk drink

Soy milk drink is one of the most natural drink which you can take. It’s healthy and very nutritious. It’s better than cow’s milk.

It is also good source of polyunsaturated fat.

Thus, substituting other animal proteins foods which are high in cholesterol and saturated fat  helps to decrease heart related diseases.

Benefits of soy milk drink. 

It’s a good source of protein, vitamin B, minerals and dietary Fibre.

  • It reduces cholesterol.
  • Soy milk prevents osteoporosis.
  • Heart health is improved.
  • It may prevent cancer.
  • It prevents diabetes.

Ingredients needed. 

  1. 1 cup of soy beans (650g or 1.4lbs)
  2. 20 pieces of dates. It acts as a sweetener. (datil, datte)
  3. 1 vanilla flavour. 
  4. 1 litre of Water. 

Step by step procedures for making soy milk drink. 

  1. Wash the soy bean and soak it in water for 8-10 hour. 
  2. Wash the dates and also soak them as well overnight, remove the seeds from the dates. Then, cut into pieces. 
  3. Remove the skin of the soy beans. 
  4. Sieve out the skin of the soy beans. 
  5. In a blender, pour the soy beans with the dates that has been soaked. Add 3 cups of water and blend till it gives you a smooth texture. 
  6. Use a sieve or a chiffon cloth to drain the soy milk from the mixture. 
  7. Pour the soy milk into a pot and set it on a medium heat for 20 minutes. Stir it till it foams. 
  8. As it boils, add the vanilla flavor continuously. Stirring the mixture on a low heat. 
  9. Let it cool. Put it in a refrigerator and serve chill.
